Scope of online education in India.
As per the 2020 statistics, the student population is 40 crores in India. These students include school students, college students, and everybody who studies in an educational institution in India which is even more than the population of the United States 2020 is estimated at 331,002,651,
However online education expected in India within the next 5 years. But it is because
of COVID-19 it has emerged so soon. Definitely online
banking showed a remarkable presence “With the ongoing digital drive in India,
the number of users opting for online banking is
expected to double to reach 150 million marks by 2020, from the current 45
million active urban online banking users in India’.
When we Indians showed faith in online banking in transacting our hard-earned money then why not in education? However it is supposed to grow gradually in the coming years but we have to learn to adapt soon, now it’s a demand of time.
Ease of online education:
- Students have an approach to reach the subject expert
around the corner.
- Students have a choice and can choose as per their
requirements.
- Chances of customized learning are brighter here.
- Of course its time saving also.
- Good opportunity for the parent to observe their wards
while studying.
- Students learned to be a part of the online world which
is the requirement of the time.
View of caution:
- We need to learn how to use this facility in an ethical
manner.
- At the same time in online, there should be preventive
measures should be taken in order to share only selective information of
students.
Other benefits:
It will definitely bring a revolution in education. Now we can expect more transparency. Also as the competition will grow for mushroom engineering & management institutes-it’s a time of “Survival of the fittest”.
As the competition will grow, in my view,
only students are going to be benefited out of this.
